Introduction

Welcome to Wits End Developments Ltd, a project founded by David and Julie Dean. They’re dedicated to preserving historical charm as they redevelop a property in Rhewl village, formerly known as Technology House, into three unique homes.

A New Chapter

Technology House served as a bustling business centre for over two decades, but with the shift to remote work, its purpose changed. Recognising the need for change, David and Julie decided to convert it into three elegant homes. They aim to breathe new life into this historic building while embracing modern living.

Blending the Past and Present

The original 1911 building, a testament to craftsmanship, will become two exquisite 3/4-bedroom townhouses. The first townhouse, named Bod Eryl, pays homage to the original owner, while the second, Y Dderwen, draws inspiration from the majestic oak tree in the front garden.

From Extension to Detached Bungalow

To create more open space, a part of the 1980s extension will be demolished and the remainder transformed into a charming 3-bedroom bungalow called “Wits End.” This name reflects the journey of restoration, capturing the challenges and triumphs of the project.

Preserving Heritage with Modern Comfort

David personally oversees the project, aiming to blend a bygone era’s allure with contemporary luxuries. The redevelopment includes bringing the building up to modern standards, with comprehensive insulation and ventilation upgrades.

A Home in Rhewl Village

Located in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, the development offers stunning views of Moel Famau and the Clwydian range. Rhewl village boasts a sense of community with its historic Drovers Pub and Sugar Plum Tea Room.

The Best of Living

Rhewl residents enjoy proximity to charming towns like Ruthin and Denbigh, offering independent shops, local treasures, and cultural experiences. Ruthin, recently named the best place to live in Wales by the Sunday Times, promises a tapestry of delights. Excellent schools ensure a nurturing environment for families.

Convenient Connections

The development is strategically located with easy access to Chester and beyond, offering the tranquility of rural living without sacrificing convenience.
